“We feel deeply privileged to have been asked to represent this extraordinary and rarified resort located in the wilderness of British Columbia.”
Situated in the south of the Great Bear Rainforest, Nimmo Bay is renowned for its wilderness, wildlife, as well as its privileged culinary and wellness experiences. Family-owned, with a staff-to-guest ratio of 4-to-1, Nimmo Bay is accessible only by air or water, and comprises nine opulent private cabins accommodating up to 18 guests.
Opened 45 years ago by Craig and Deborah Murray, it is run by their eldest son, Fraser, and his wife, Becky. The property is nestled in a serene bay, partly floating, partly built on an outcrop of land, with a waterfall that cascades through the heart of the resort. Guests can explore the surrounding waterways and wilderness by luxury boats, along endless hiking trails, in kayaks and helicopters.
Its restaurant, Little River, as well as its fitness room, indoor and outdoor lounges and fire deck are all floating and accessed by walkways. Alongside the waterfall and natural plunge pool, the resort’s wellness center features a yoga studio and two beautiful treatments spaces. A short boat ride away, guests find floating wood-fired saunas and hot tubs.
Some guests come to fish, some to be pampered, some to embark on a “snorkic” snorkeling-picnic, some to spot grizzlies, some to float or hike, some to sample some of North America’s most exquisite food – or their own combination of activities curated by the Nimmo Bay team specifically for each guest.
