Founded by Edward Piegza in 1995, Classic Journeys has grown from offering trips in three countries (all in Europe) to more than 90 itineraries in 42 countries on six continents; and from one style of travel to seven — culture, walking, culinary, family, multi-sport, alumni and incentive. More than 300 set departures annually are complemented by all manner of private and custom trips.

Classic Journeys specializes in tours throughout Europe (with special concentration on Italy and France), North and South America, Asia and Africa. It was one of the first American tour companies to offer tours of Cuba.
